Individual Coaching
All individual coaching is virtual, in approximately 60-minute sessions.
Individual coaching is customized to the needs of each client and essentially
takes one of two forms.
Short-term coaching
This service involves one-on-one coaching over a pre-agreed number of
sessions over a specific period of time. This coaching model best serves a
client facing specific professional or personal challenges or growth goals.
Invoiced in advance, in renewal increments of 5 sessions.
On-going coaching
This service involves one-to-one coaching support for an extended period of
time with a pre-agreed number or frequency of sessions. This on-ongoing
delivery model best serves a leader interested in benefitting from having a
confidential thinking partner over an extended period of
time, as a built-in component of on-going professional growth.
Invoiced in advance, in quarterly or half-yearly increments, in the form of a
renewable annual “retainer”.
Consultancies & Team Coaching
At the organizational level, support may take the form of team coaching or a
consultancy, and is customized to the organization’s needs.
Coaching for a team
This service enhances a leadership team’s collaborative potential and overall
effectiveness, by…
…raising the team’s self-awareness of its own dynamic, strengths
and collective EQ;
…enhancing communication practices and norms
…finding clarity and commonality in shared goals
The process includes a mix of whole-team sessions and confidential individual
sessions, over an agreed timeframe, with an agreed purpose. This coaching
model best suits an organization that is embarking on specific new initiatives,
or has several new members of the leadership team. The process may also
include the administering of some form of agreed assessment to inform team
reflection.
Invoiced in the form of an agreed fee, part of which is payable in advance and
the remainder upon completion of the services.
Coaching for multiple leaders
This service involves individual, confidential coaching support for multiple
leaders in the organization. (For example, all the Principals and Assistant
Principals in the school.) This coaching model works best for an organization
that recognizes the value of one-to-one executive and wellness coaching, and
wants all leaders to benefit from it, taking advantage of a discounted fee
structure.
Example: the coaching agreement may take the form of a 2- to 3-month
period during which each leader is entitled to five sessions of coaching around
an individual growth goal of her/his choice.
Invoiced in the form of an agreed fee, part of which is payable in advance and
the remainder upon completion of the services.
Consultancy
These services involve a sharing of expertise, in the form of training or
facilitation. This support may be offered on-site, remotely, or through a hybrid
delivery model, depending on the context and client’s needs.
The specific areas of consultant support offered by DWO are:
• Effective governance
o training, orientation or facilitation (on-site recommended)
o a governance audit (virtual)
• Strategic thinking and planning (hybrid delivery recommended)
• Mission development (hybrid delivery recommended)
All consultant service agreements are completely customized to the
organization’s needs.
Multiple services can be bundled, and invoiced in the form of a longer-term
“retainer” fee.
For schools, our consultant fees are on a sliding scale (based on school
enrolment) designed to make our services affordable to school or systems of
size.
Prior to any engagement we encourage a virtual conversation - for us to fully understand your needs and for you to get a sense of whether we are the best service providers for you.
