John, an Executive and Organizational Coach, is a consultant in strategy governance and mission development, and offers both executive and organizational coaching.


Individual support:
 Individual support is customized to the needs of an individual leader and essentially takes one of two forms:

Short-term coaching:   This service involves one-on-one coaching over a pre-agreed number of sessions over a specific period of time. This coaching model best serves a client facing specific professional or personal challenges.
                       
Sustained coaching:   This service involves one-to-one coaching support for an extended period of time with a pre-agreed number or frequency of sessions. This coaching model best serves a leader more generally interested in practicing and developing new ways of behaving, interacting, and leading. In other words, the purpose of multi-month support would be to enhance the individual’s overall efficacy, impact and wellness.

(Unless otherwise specified, all sessions are assumed to be 45 to 60 minutes.)

Organizational support:
 Organizational support may take the form of coaching or a consultancy, and is customized to the organization’s needs:
 
Coaching for multiple leaders:  This service involves individual support for multiple leaders in the organization. For example, the School Director and 3 Principals.  This coaching model works best for an organization that recognizes and understands the value of one-to-one executive and wellness coaching, and wants all leaders to benefit from it and to take advantage of a discounted fee structure. 

Coaching for a team:  This service involves coaching for a team of leaders, which could be a combination of all-team sessions and individual sessions as needed, over an agreed timeframe. This coaching model best suits an organization that is embarking on specific new initiatives, or knows it needs to change but is struggling with how.

Consultancy:   This service involves a sharing of expertise, in the form of training or facilitation. This support  may be offered remotely, though it is normally on-site. The specific areas of expert support offered by DWO are:
  • Effective governance
  • Strategic planning
  • Mission development
  • Leading learning
  • Long-term facility and financial planning
